At Symm Consulting Limited, we uphold the vision of equitable social and economic development across genders. We recognize that the centuries old practices of unequal treatment of and opportunities for the women have necessitated continuous and deliberate efforts to materialize this vision.

We employ a three-step approach in order to materialize our vision through multiple engagements-

• Diagnosis:

This step consists of the Symm Consulting team extracting nuanced understanding of an issue that creates inequality through a mix of appropriate tools.

• Identification of enablers and inhibitors:

In this step, the team identifies the enablers and/ or inhibitors, the compounding effects of these enablers and/or inhibitors in order to understand how these enablers and inhibitors are reducing and/or enhancing the inequality in the specific sector from a multi-perspective view. This part of the exercise also helps the team to identify potential leverage points that can be roped in to advance the desired agenda.

• Design of solution options/ spaces:

This step consolidates the findings from the previous steps, identifies some solution options/spaces and later on delve in deeper to select the strong solution options/ spaces.

In addition to this, we also encourage prototyping, whenever possible, to assess the likelihood of effectiveness of the recommended solution options/spaces.We understand the convoluted nature of the cross-cutting issues pertaining to gender and hence, we continuously aspire to seek and adopt best practices as befitting for any engagements.
